Protection Fabrics
To meet the many safety
requirements when carrying out welding and metal cutting operations, a range of
fabrics has been created which satisfies most demands.
The following fabrics are
recommended depending upon the level of protection required.

Fabrics are supplied in nominal 50
metre roll lengths and in a width of 1000mm, with the exception of Tygasil
fabrics with a standard width of 910mm.
All fabrics can be supplied in a
variety of widths, subject to a minimum order requirement.
Fabrics can be supplied in the
form of made up blankets/ screens. Quotations on request.
Fabrics can be supplied with an
elastomeric coating (e.g. neoprene or silicone rubber) or with FEF proprietary
coatings 031 (Tyglas VC) or R035 (Tyglas FB)
051 is a graphite based
finish
028 is an abrasion resistant
finish for Tygasil Y0539
003 combines the Tyglas 1000C
(398) and the aluminised (031)b Tyglas VC finishes.
Fabrics Contain no Asbestos or
Respirable Fibres
