Material For Defence And
Protection
Aramid Laminates
L1 Series
| Description |
Rigid
resin-bonded panels of aramid fabric produced in different weights and
thickness' to give protection against a wide range of threat levels,
particularly against fragmentation attack. |
Protection
against high velocity rifle rounds can be obtained when used in conjunction
with other materials. |

| Applications |
Spall
armour for military vehicles, ships, aircraft and installations of a military
nature. |
Primary armour
for VIP and Cash-in-Transit vehicles. |
When used in conjunction with
ceramic tiles the laminates are suitable for use in discretely armoured
vehicles as primary armour against high velocity rifle threats. Specific advice
is available on request. |
